Radar and Electro-Optical Technologies for SisGaaZ

ICS Technologies is contributing to SisGaaZ, Brazil’s strategic maritime surveillance programme, through the deployment of advanced radar and Electro-Optical System (EOS) technologies at the Castelhanos operational site.

Developed in collaboration with SIATT for the Brazilian Navy, the solution combines complementary sensing technologies to enhance maritime situational awareness across a complex coastal environment.

The integrated system supports effective monitoring of maritime traffic, as well as coastal surveillance, anti-smuggling operations and the detection of illicit activities along Brazil’s coastline.

By combining radar coverage with electro-optical observation, the architecture provides a more comprehensive operational picture, giving authorities greater visibility over the monitored area.

The Castelhanos deployment demonstrates how integrated surveillance technologies can translate into concrete operational capabilities, contributing to the protection of strategic maritime areas and supporting the organisations responsible for safeguarding them.

Through this project, ICS Technologies further strengthens its expertise in radar, electro-optical technologies and system integration within large-scale maritime security programmes.
